Last night’s season 14 debut of the UFC’s “The Ultimate Fighter” reality show pulled in respectable numbers in-line with the show’s history of garnering its key demographic.

The show earned a 1.1 household rating and averaged 1.5 million viewers, during the course of the two-hour episode.

Spike TV officials confirmed the stats earlier today.

The two-hour premier broadcast was the number one rated cable program in the timeslot among men 18-49 and 18-34 and was also reported as the number 2 program all day among men 18-49.

The 14th season of “The Ultimate Fighter” features a middleweight coaching staff in the form of Jason “Mayhem” Miller and Michael Bisping as well as some of the best undiscovered featherweight and bantamweight fighters on the planet.

Last night’s episode featured the first 16 bouts and with 16 losers sent home, the 16 winners on the night were given passes into the house to be a part of the season 14 cast.

Spike TV began airing the UFC’s reality series in 2005 and after many successful seasons, the 14th is the last and final installment on the network. UFC officials have now opted to join forces with FOX for 2012 and the next seven-years to follow.
