Last night on the preliminary card of “UFC Fight Night Stockholm”, Mairbek Taisumov scored a brutal KO win over Anthony Christodoulou, who took the fight on short notice.

After KOing Christodoulou, Taisumov landed several shots while Christodoulou was out, before the ref could stop the fight.

Taisomov felt bad about the shots, and apologized to Christodoulou post-fight.

“I didn’t see that he was out. In my career, I’ve never (done this before). When I see somebody do something like this, I didn’t like it. I didn’t see that he was out.

“I’m so sorry.”

“I didn’t see that he was out and that is why I am apologizing for that. That was not nice. If I didn’t see that he was out, maybe the referee also didn’t see that he was out.”
