Fight of the Night and Submission of the Night: Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate
Rousey and Tate had the crowd on their feet before the fight even began. Ronda Rousey proved to the world that she is not all hype as she dominated Tate from the start. Despite taking some serious punishment, Tate kept pressing forward and showed resilience in her submission defense. She showed that she had been practicing armbar defense since their last fight, but it was one armbar attempt too many. Miesha Tate was forced to submit in the third round after being slapped in another armbar attempt, this time successful. She tapped out before Ronda Rousey could torque and do permanent damage.

Knockout of the Night: Travis Browne
Travis Browne walked into the fight as an underdog and proved to the world that he is not only a striker, but that he is a well rounded mixed martial artist. He stuffed an early takedown attempt from Barnett and countered it with a knee that seemed to knock the favorite out cold. Browne followed up with a series of brutal elbows and the referee was forced to call a stop to the fight in just one minute.
