Daley finally granted visa to fight again in the United States

By Chris Taylor - August 22, 2014

According to Bellator President Scott Coker, Paul “Semtex” Daley (34-13-2 MMA) has finally been granted a working visa from the United States government, which will allow him to resume his fight career with the Viacom-owned organization.

Daley has not fought on American soil since July of 2012, when he defeated Rudy Bears via first-round TKO at Bellator 72. Following his win over Bears, “Semtex” was forced to pull out of the Bellator Welterweight Tournament due to visa issues.

Even though Daley recently re-signed with Bellator, his next fight will come under the BAMMA banner, as he is set to take on Igor Fernandes in the headlining bout of BAMMA 16 on September 13.

If all goes according to plan, “Semtex” should make his return to the Bellator cage before years end.
