For the third time a UFC 158 winner will step up and replace an injured fighter on UFC on Fox 7. The latest fighter to make the move is T.J. Dillashaw (7-1), he will fight Hugo Viana (7-0) in a Bantamweight battle.

Dillashaw replaces Francisco Rivera (9-2) who had to pull out due to an injury. The TUF Season 14 finalist will be looking to continue his recent run of success. He is currently on a three fight win streak, and has not lost since the TUF 14 Finale to Jon Dodson. Dillashaw’s most recent victory came via second round TKO over Issei Tamura at UFC 158. He will try to use his excellent grappling game along with his improving striking to take him to victory.

Viana brings an unblemished 7-0 record into the fight, and is looking to put his name among the top contenders in the division. His most recent victory came at the TUF 16 finale, where he knocked out Reuben Duran in the very first round. The Brazilian, who fights out of the Champion Team camp, was on the TUF: Brazil reality series. After winning in the first round of the competition, he lost in the semi-finals to Rony Mariano Bezerra by Unanimous Decision.

The UFC on Fox 7 event is scheduled for April 20th at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California. The event features the UFC Lightweight championship bout between Benson Henderson and Strikeforce Lightweight Champion Gilbert Melendez. The card also features Frank Mir vs. Daniel Cormier, and Nate Diaz vs. Josh Thomson.
