The ratings for last Saturday’s “Strikeforce: Tate vs. Rousey” event are in and should be considered a success all things considered.
While the event only drew in 431,000 viewers, it should be noted that the fact it was headlined by a female title fight and not a huge name brand star gives these figures a little more relevance.
It wasn’t the highest rating in the promotions history, but the Tate vs. Rousey event still outdrew the likes of Barnett vs. Kharitonov, Rockhold vs. Jardine and Henderson vs. Feijao. That says a lot.
“Strikeforce: Tate vs. Rousey” took place last Saturday from Columbus Ohio’s Nationwide Arena. In the end it was Ronda Rousey who took out the champ, Miesha Tate and proved why she is the number one female bantamweight in the world.featured, MMA NEWS, Strikeforce, strikeforce news, ufc news
