UFC heavyweight Stipe Miocic put on quite the show last night in Australia when he beat up Mark Hunt for nearly the entire 5 rounds, before the fight was stopped late in the fifth.

Miocic used his superior wrestling to wear Hunt out and beat him up on the ground every round. A lot of viewers and MMA media said that the fight should have been called off earlier due to the amount of damage Hunt was taking. So what does Miocic think? This is what he had to say at the post-fight press conference.

“I saw that I was winning, and I was going to keep going forward until I stopped the fight or until I got the decision. I didn’t care. Of course I was looking for the finish, but he’s a tough guy. That’s why it went as long as it did.”
