Stephens vs. Jason Rebooked For Fight Night 32 Event

By BJPENN.COM News - September 26, 2013

A featherweight bout between Jeremy Stephens and Rony Jason has been rescheduled for UFC Fight Night 32, going down in Brazil on November 9.

The two were originally slated to scrap at Fight NIght 29 later next month but injuries forced both fighters off the card and out of their scheduled bout.

UFC Fight NIght 32 goes down from Goiania Arena in Goiania, Goias, Brazil and will air on Fox Sports 1. In the main event a light-heavyweight bout between Dan Henderson and Vitor Belfort takes place.

Stephens recently made the drop to featherweight after receiving mixed results in the UFC’s lightweight division. He was successful in his debut at 145 when he faced off with Estevan Payan at UFC 160.

Jason is the first winner of TUF Brazil. The standout featherweight has won his last three fights inside the Octagon with victories over Mike Wilkinson, Sam Sicilia and Gedofredo Pepey at UFC 147 to win the TUF tournament.
