Should Jose Aldo Rematch McGregor for the Belt? : The Aftermath

December 13, 2015 1:32 pm by Joe JD David

It may not be up to Jose Aldo for an immediate rematch, depending on how his contract was negotiated with the UFC.   Jose Aldo once ruled over the featherweight division and remained undefeated for a decade until last night at UFC 194 when McGregor answered the critics with one punch.

Aldo was obviously emotional before Bruce Buffer made it the KO official, you can see Aldo wanting that rematch before McGregor had his hand raised.  McGregor told reporters that he felt that the fight should of been longer out of respect for the former champ but the outcome ultimately would of been the same.

Will a tune-up fight be needed considering the amount of time Aldo has been on the shelf and logging in 13 seconds of fight time since his last fight against Mendes a year ago?
