Bellator middleweight champion, Alexander Shlemenko, isn’t exactly in a rush to join the UFC.

In a recent interview with allfight.ru, Shlemenko talked about the promotion and said that he thinks people put too much importance on the UFC and it’s different for every fighter.

“If I would have wanted, I would already have gone. Many people put too much importance to this promotion. UFC – this is not the Olympic Games. We are engaged in professional sports. There are conditions of the contract. For some, it is better and for some it is worse. Every man chooses for himself.”

Do you think the UFC is seen as the top because it actually is, or are fighters in other minor promotions still well off?
