SERVED! “Pac-Man” Hit With Lawsuit For Not Disclosing Injury

Manny Pacquiao

The fall out from the “biggest fight of the decade” is turning out to be more exciting than the fight itself. However, why anybody would sue Pacquiao for the reasons they’re doing it is downright silly.

Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports reports plaintiffs Staphane Vanel and Kami Rahbaran are suing Manny Pacquiao and his team for being duped into paying to watch the fight after Pacquiao failed to disclose his shoulder injury. Rahbaran and Vanel’s case alleges that the two were defrauded after paying to watch the bout and seeks class action status on behalf of anyone who bought tickets or even BET on the fight.

Manny Pacquiao suffered a shoulder injury in the weeks leading up to his bout with Floyd Mayweather. Even though he said he verbally told the Nevada State Athletic Commission about the injury, his team failed to notify them of the injury on the official documentation.
