Salary Report: Nate Diaz Earns $16k To Co-Headline UFC Event On FOX

NAte Diaz

Popular UFC lightweight fighter Nate Diaz stayed out of competition as long as he could. A contract dispute, centered around his pay, was the cause of a 12-month stint of inactivity.

Upon his return Nate Diaz was open about his need to get back in the cage, despite his contract dispute, because he needed to make some money.

Due to disclosure requirements in the state of California, we have the pay figures for Diaz, and the rest of the UFC on FOX 13 cast, and it doesn’t look good for the Stockton native.

For his efforts in the night’s co-main event, Nate Diaz was contracted to earn $20,000.00 to show and $20,000.00 to win. However due to his pre-fight shenanigans, Nate got fined, then lost, resulting in a total disclosed payout of just $16,000.00.

Let’s hope, there’s some additional “Non-Disclosed” funding coming his way from the UFC, otherwise that’s just not right. (Ya I said it)
