As if you wanted to hear more injury news, the UFC announced via their official Twitter account that former Strikeforce welterweight champion, Tarec Saffiedine has been injured and was forced to withdraw from his fight with Robbie Lawler (20-9, 1 NC).

Stepping in for the injured Saffiedine is Siyar Bahadurzada (21-5-1). Bahadurzada is returning from his first loss in four years at the hands of Dong-Hyun Kim back in March at UFC on FUEL TV: Silva vs. Stann.

As for Lawler, he helped establish the impressive reputation that Strikeforce fighters have built in their UFC debuts, finishing perennial welterweight top-contender, Josh Koscheck,  the first round at UFC 157 in February.

UFC on FOX 8 takes place at Key Arena in Seattle, Washington on July 27th. It is being headlined by a flyweight title fight between champion Demetrious Johnson and John Moraga.
