Light-Heavyweight fighters, Ryan Jimmo and Jimi Manuwa, will face off at UFC Fight Night 30 in England, UFC officials confirmed Monday.
The card, which will be headlined by British-native Michael Bisping taking on Mark Munoz, will take place at Manchester Arena on October 26.
Jimmo (18-2) is coming off an underwhelming decision victory over Igor Pokrajac at UFC 161. Prior to that bout, he split his first two UFC fights with a unanimous decision loss to James Te Huna and an impressive knockout win over Anthony Perosh just seven seconds into his UFC debut.
Manuwa (13-0) is riding a 2-fight win streak in the UFC with two stoppages. In his UFC debut at UFC on Fuel TV 5, the U.K native Manuwa beat his opponent, Kyle Kingsbury, to the point where the ring doctor called a stop to the fight. His second fight saw opponent Cyrille Diabate retire after one round due to a torn calf muscle.
The UFC has not solidified the order of the bouts. Jimmo vs. Manuwa could be aired on either FOX Sports 1 or on Facebook.Tags: jimi manuwa, mma, MMA NEWS, ryan jimmo, ufc, UFC FIGHT NIGHT 30, ufc news
