RUMOR! Floyd Mayweather’s Final Fight Might Air On CBS

There’s a rumor making its way around saying that Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s final fight, scheduled for September 12 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, could air on CBS.
Mayweather fighting on free TV? That sentence doesn’t even sound right, but that’s the word going around. We know he doesn’t need the money from PPV and we know he said he wants to fight basically a no name fighter for what he says is his final fight. Factor those together and this might make sense. Could Mayweather be leaving the sport by giving the fans a fight they don’t have to pay for just to be disappointed?
We’ll see.
