A damaged right finger has UFC heavyweight Roy Nelson on the shelf.

Today the UFC released the suspension information directly to mixedmartialarts.com for last weekend’s UFC Fight Night 39 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Nelson defeated Antonio Nogueira with a highlight reel KO.

As there is no sanctioning organization in the United Arab Emirates for mixed martial arts, the UFC acts as it’s own governing body and provides the suspensions to MMA LLC, which acts as the record and suspension keeper for the Association of Boxing Commissions.
