Ronda Rousey’s career away from fighting continues to gain major momentum.
The addition of a role in yet another blockbuster motion picture franchise could soon be added to the long list of duties that await the UFC bantamweight champion.
Variety is reporting that Rousey is in negotiations to star in “Fast & Furious 7.”
The idea is that Rousey would shoot both films back to back in order to finish in time to meet the time needed to focus on training for her next fight. She has a championship rematch on Dec. 28 against Meisha Tate. Rousey and Tate have completed shooting on The Ultimate Fighter 18, which will air in September.
“Fast & Furious 6″ is the highest grossing film for Universal having made more than $740 million worldwide . Fast & Furious stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will all return for the franchise’s seventh film. It will be directed by James Wan.
This marks Rousey’s second role in a matter of weeks having also committed to a part in “The Expendables 3.”
She has already stated her intentions of training while on set for “The Expendables 3.”
The question is, will all of this extracurricular activity takeaway from Rousey’s performance against Tate come December?Tags: MMA NEWS, Ronda Rousey, ufc news
