Earlier this week it was revealed that UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey would be starring in the new remake of ‘Road House’, the classic film in which Patrick Swayze was the star in the original.
Rousey will be taking on the lead role and apparently the story will be tweaked a little bit.
This had some fans of the movie a little upset, wondering why the movie needs to be remade in the first place.
Rousey went on Entertainment Tonight and talked about the new role and the pressure tied to it.
“I’m obsessed with Road House, I love Road House. I see why people would be hesitant to see a remake, because it is such a classic. In my own way, I’m nervous. The worst thing that’s going to happen is, is that I’’ll really suck and just disgrace the name of (Patrick) Swayze and ‘Road House’ and everyone will hate me.”
