Ronda Rousey Update: Mouth injury with unstable teeth!

By bjpenndotcom - December 7, 2015

Ronda Rousey has been missing in action since she was KO’d in the second round courtesy of a Holly “The Preachers Daughter” Holm head kick. Her stunning loss in Melbourne Australia was a record breaking all time attendance record at UFC 193

Since then, Rousey has been seen walking the dog with Travis “Hapa” Browne having coffee, but her most recent statement with People.com regarding her injury is going to set her rematch back even further.

Ronda spoke with People.com

The stitches in her lip still dissolving, and a few of her teeth still unstable from Holm’s fight-ending kick to the face, Rousey admits “It might be three to six months before I can eat an apple, let alone take an impact.”

Logically speaking, if she can’t even bite down on an apple within 3-6 months, chances are it’s going to be even longer than expected till we see the former champ Rousey attempt to rematch the champ.

So, the big question moving forward is who will Holm face to defend her belt? Tate, Nunes, Zingano are a few names that come to mind. Thoughts?
