UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey says that she doesn’t want people knowing how much she makes. It’s no secret that Rousey is one of the UFC’s biggest draws, and with 10 finishes in 10 career bouts, Rousey has won 4 post fight bonuses in her 4 UFC appearances, totaling $200,000, in addition to her purse, and earnings from PPV sales.

That being said, ‘Rowdy’ doesn’t want to disclose her entire earnings. She spoke to UFC announcer Bruce Buffer on his podcast “It’s Time!” saying:

“The money that I make, I’m very, very happy, and I’m very, very satisfied. It’s also very, very private. I don’t want people to know how much money I’m making.”

“I can just say I’m very comfortable and very well taken care of. So are all these other women, from what I know they’re extremely well taken care of. The UFC is special in that they’re willing to make themselves look bad so the fighters have to deal with less.”

“Everyone has their own way and we don’t all have to do it the same way. Not everyone has to try and dress up super pretty or they don’t have to all try to say crazy things. Look at how Rory MacDonald does it. He dresses a certain way and has the demeanor of ‘American Psycho’ and everyone loves it.”
