The dream match between Ronda Rousey and Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino is so close, yet so far, from happening.

UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Rousey is set to defend her title at UFC 190 against Bethe Correia. Even though Miesha Tate and Jessica Eye’s fight this weekend could decide the next challenger, there is still a possibility “Cyborg” is next in line. All they need to do is agree on a weight to fight at.

“It’s entirely up to her. I’m not going to go chasing her around,” Rousey told the media during an open workout. “She’s not entitled to have me chase her around. She’s the fraud that got defamed. If you can make 145 pumped full of steroids, you can get off it and drop.”

Rousey wants the fight to take place in her weight class of 135, but “Cyborg” claims she has always had trouble making the weight.

“…If she doesn’t step up, I can move on and do other things with my life. She’s the one who’s going to fall into obscurity without me.”

Can “Cyborg” reign supreme in Invicta and stay relevant without Rousey, or do you think the fight needs to happen? Share your thoughts in the comment section below!
