By Lynn Mitchell:
The Gracie family will try to make history once again.   Heavyweight submission specialist Rolles Gracie is negotiations to face the once most feared Heavyweight in MMA “The Last Emperor” Fedor Emilianenko on June 21 2012 in St. Petersburg arranged by M1-Global.

After his lost to Joey Beltran back in 2010 Rolles has made the necessary adjustments to his camp and training.  He has put together a three fight win streak all by submissions. It’s a question weather their names and records could even compare to “The Last Emperor”.

Two consecutive wins over Jeff Monson and Satoshi Ishii, Fedor is making his way back to bigger fights after dropping three  in row to Fabrcio Werdum, Antonio Silva and Dan Henderson.   This fight is relevant to both fighters for different reasons.  Fedor Emilianenko needs to win by spectacular fashion, so he can move on to relevancy once again.

A win over “The Last Emperor” Rolles Gracie young and still building a career on his already famed last name would step him closer to making a permanent mark in MMA.
