Robbie Lawler Wants To Return At UFC 195

By Chris Taylor - September 3, 2015

UFC welterweight champion “Ruthless” Robbie Lawler was expected to headline November’s UFC 193 pay-per-view event in Melbourne, Australia, opposite challenger Carlos Condit.

Unfortunately, Lawler recently suffered a thumb injury that forced the proposed title fight to be postponed.

Now for some good news… UFC Tonight’s Ariel Helwani recently reported that Lawler will be sidelined for just a month and that the champ is hoping to return to action at January’s UFC 195 pay-per-view event.

The UFC has not made any formal announcement, but it is expected that Lawler will still fight Condit in his next title defense.
