Mayweather Pacquiao

The most highly anticipated Boxing match of our time may be official in the next 7 to 10 days according to a source.

A boxing official spoke to the LA Times to discuss the match, and how close it is to being signed and official.

The official stated that they were “making progress” in closing the deal, which would likely see Mayweather and Pacquiao split the purse 60-40 in Mayweather’s favor according to the source.

The source also stated that both men agreed to fight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, and agreed on a drug-testing plan. However, most importantly, the source said the bout could be made official in as little as 7 to 10 days given that “The calendar is a factor.”
