Ratings Report: UFC 192 Prelims Deliver Fair Ratings On FOX Sports 1

By BJPENN.COM News - October 8, 2015

This past weekend at UFC 192, we saw some pretty exciting fights, from the UFC Fight Pass prelims to the main event on PPV.

As far as the FS1 prelims go, ratings were pretty decent when you take into account the competition the broadcast went up against. It’s football season and that means every other sport is going to take a hit in ratings, that’s just a fact.

The FS1 prelims managed to average 749,000 viewers and peaked at 883,000, around the time Albert Tumenov took on Alan Jouban, and knocked him out. That makes the program the fourth-lowest audience of the 11 UFC prelim shows of its kind so far in 2015.

It’s obvious football is here and that didn’t help numbers, but as far as FS1 is concerned, the show did much better than the UFC prelims that aired this time a year ago, which only brought in 536,000 average viewers. So, there’s a silver lining.

What did you guys think of the prelims?
