“I’m looking to return in September, October, but I’m not gonna try to push it. I’m three months out from post-operation. Right now, it’s just me doing a lot of stability work and hitting the mitts lightly.”

Rashad Evans has not fought since his UFC 167 bout with Chael Sonnen in 2013. However, all of that is about to change as ‘Sugar’ is looking to make his return to the octagon in the fall of 2015!

A busted knee kept Evans from marquee bouts with the likes of Alexander Gutafsson, Glover Teixeira and Daniel Cormier. Evans underwent a knee surgery that sidelined him for several months, but he is back in the gym sparring with the Blackzillians. Evans appeared on screen during ‘UFC on FOX 15’ and confirmed that his recovery is going well and he will not rush a return.
