POLL RESULTS | Should Cain vs. JDS Have Been Stopped Sooner?

After a historic UFC 166 event that saw Cain Velasquez batter former champ, Junior dos Santos for nearly five straight rounds, the MMA world was split in half.

Dana White, Joe Rogan and members of the media along with fans alike thought their fight for the UFC’s heavyweight title should have been stopped around the third round.

The referee and the corner of JDS obviously disagreed and let the Brazilian fight on and through more punishment.

We took to the polls last week to gauge the fans thoughts and it was pretty close, but still marginally in favor of stopping the bout early in favor of JDS keeping his face intact.
