Phil Davis’ Gross Reason For Missing Live Bellator Announcement

If you watched the Bellator 138 event on Spike TV then you probably saw the live announcement they did during the broadcast, announcing the event in September that will feature a title fight between the champ and Tito Ortiz and a cross promotion with GLORY kickboxing.

Also announced was a one-night four man tournament featuring 4 of the promotions top ranked light-heavyweights. The tournament featured King Mo and Phil Davis and two other fighters. All the fighters came out onto the stage with Scott Coker, all fighters except Phil Davis that is. He was nowhere to be found.

Well, according to a conversation between Davis and Bellator’s head of public relations Danny Brener, we now know why.
