Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone is set to face John Makdessi this Saturday at UFC 187.

The Reebok deal will go into effect at UFC 189, but Cerrone says when it takes effect he’ll be losing quite a chunk of cash.

The UFC lightweight told Yahoo! Sports that when the deal starts he will be losing 60K per fight. Under the new deal he will make 20k every time he steps in the octagon.

“Per fight, yeah, I’m going to take a little bit of a cut, sure. I think my pay grade with the Reebok deal is, $20,000, or $22,000. So, comfortably, [I’m] saying that I’m going to be losing $60,000 a fight probably.”
