Patrick Cote On His New Role As TUF Coach

In a true comeback story, Patrick Cote has gone from fighting for the UFC title, to fading into the regional circuit but now, after a resurgent UFC placement, he is back in the spotlight as TUF coach.

It was announced last week that Patrick Cote would be responsible for the Canadian Team of fighters in the upcoming CA vs. Aus season and will coach opposite Kyle Noke.

The former middleweight title challenger took to Canada’s Sportsnet to discuss his career turnaround:

“I’m very excited. I was a contestant on The Ultimate Fighter 4 ‘The Comeback,’ but to come back on this season as a coach is really an accomplishment for me because a year ago I was in the middle of nowhere in Brazil fighting my way back to go in the UFC and now I’m going to be the coach for Canada, it’s just insane.”
