ODDS! Joanna Jedrzejczyk Opens As -2000 Favorite Over Valerie Letourneau

By BJPENN.COM News - September 25, 2015

UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk, or Joanna ‘Champion’, is set to defend her title for the second time at UFC 193 on Nov. 14 in Melbourne, Australia.

Joanna Jedrzejczyk partakes in one of the best women's title fights ever

Her opponent? Valerie Letourneau, a fighter with a record of 8-3 and is currently on a four fight win streak and undefeated in the UFC. Anyone who’s really payed attention, or knows anything about Letourneau skills understands that she’s definitely a tough task for the champ. Unfortunately, it looks like just about no one is really giving her a chance.

Currently on Bovada, Joanna is listed as a -2000 favorite, with Letourneau coming in at +900.

So to put that simply:

You would have to bet $2,000 on Joanna to win $100. However, a bet of only $10 for Letourneau will earn you $90 if she’s victorious, or if you’re feeling lucky drop a $20 on her and you could win $180.

Those are the current odds, they are very likely to shift from now until the fight.

And for reference, on that same card Ronda Rousey will defend her title against Holly Holm in the main event. Those odds?

Rousey: -1400
Holm: +750
