Lightweight fighters, Norman Parke and Jon Tuck, are set to fight at UFC Fight Night 30 on October 26 in Manchester, England. UFC officials announced the match up on Monday.
The bout was originally slated for April on the UFC on FOX 7 card, but Tuck suffered an injury just days leading up to the fight.
Prior to that injury, Tuck had earned himself a 7-0 record and won his UFC debut at UFC on Fuel TV 6 in Macau.
Parke (18-2), a native of Northern Ireland, won the lightweight bracket of “The Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes” by defeating Colin Fletcher at the TUF finale at UFC on FX 6 in Australia. Since that fight, Parke has kept his UFC record unblemished with a unanimous decision win over Kazuki Tokudome at UFC 162.
The UFC has yet to announce the bout order for UFC Fight Night 30. The card is headlined by a middleweight bout between Michael Bisping and Mark Munoz, which will take place at the Phones 4U Arena, formerly known as the Manchester Arena.
