Shaq and Kobe Bryant have both accused the Houston Rockets superstar of being “soft”, for an NBA big man.
Well, Dwight Howard is ready to prove them wrong.
That’s right, ladies and gentlemen; the 6’11”, 265 pound Howard is going to be fighting in the UFC! All he needs is ten million dollars, for one fight… and of course he would have to renege on his 4 year, 87 million-dollar contract, or convince them to allow him to fight another man in a cage, risking injuries that might sideline him for an indefinite amount of time… but besides those two minuscule details, he’s ready to go!
… okay, so this fight probably isn’t going to happen. Ever. But either way, Howard is sure to generate even more attention for himself, after already having a fantastic start with his new team, averaging 17.4 points, 14.6 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game. And as Oscar Wilde once said, ” The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about”.
And, perhaps, getting knocked out in front of millions of people in a televised cage fight. But fortunately for Howard (and his NBA career), this dream is likely to remain one of the few things which are simply “out of his reach”.Tags: Dana White, Dwight Howard, mma, MMA NEWS, NBA, ufc, ufc news
