In an effort to bring MMA fans and beer drinkers even closer together, Montana Brewery “Front Brewery” and 221 Industries, the Promoter of “Intense Championship Fighting,” have worked together in order to create a specially crafted MMA-themed beer that they have appropriately named “Submission Ale.” This beer apparently tastes great, and is for a good cause, too. For every beer sold at the beer’s release party, $1 was donated to the 221 Children’s fund, which helps provide financial aid to families who have children suffering from Cancer. Furthermore, a donation will also be made to the fund for any kegs sold to other bars.
Cory Smith, 221 Industries CEO, told MMA.tv that the initial release of the beer was a big success, saying “Working with everyone over at the Front has been an awesome experience — they have such an awesome staff and are just all-around good people…The release party went great! We had a packed house, so many people came out to try this new MMA beer, it was an all around good night. “We raised a lot of money for the youth cancer foundation, and began our journey on making “Submission Ale” a well known beer in not just the mixed martial arts world, but to beer drinkers everywhere.”Tags: 221 Industries, Beer, mma, MMA NEWS
