The “Just Scrap” promotion is starting 2012 off with a bang on January 14th and to prove it they are putting up four titles in one night.
The latest addition to this night of title fights is a flyweight championship matchup between Wayne Emche and Keola Arakaki.
“I said it before and I will say it again, expect fireworks next Saturday night. I wanted to put our best foot forward in this first show of the year and get it started off right, which is why we are putting up four-titles in one night,” said “Just Scrap” president, JD Penn.
“Just Scrap XV” is set to take place in Hilo, Hawaii from the Hilo Civic Auditorium On January 14.
Wayne Emche is another hardnosed Hawaii based fighter who looks to capitalize on his opportunity to be a belt holder for the “Just Scrap” promotion. Representing the Penn Training and Fitness center and Boss MMA, the 4-1 fighter last saw action in October with a victory over Sheldon Acantilado.
His opponent, Keola Arakaki, has a lot to prove in his upcoming fight against Emche. The Hilo based fighter training out of HIBC holds a current record of 6-3 and last fought under the “Unorthodox” banner just three months ago. He was stopped in the first round and looks to get back to his winning ways next week. Out of his six career victories three have been by submission, one by decision, one by TKO and one by Knockout.
