Miguel Torres is throwing his hat into the kickboxing ring.
Torres has signed a one-night contract with GLORY, according to MMA Fighting.
Torres is scheduled to make his debut at GLORY 17 Los Angeles on June 21. Torres’ fight will be on the GLORY 17 Spike TV undercard. The main card will be the promotion’s first pay-per-view.
Torres, 33, will compete in a one-night, 145-pound four-man tournament. He faces Shane Oblonsky in one semifinal fight, while Gabriel Varga vs. Yodkhunpon Sitmonchai is the other semifinal.
Torres is 41-7 as a pro MMA fighter and is coming off a unanimous decision win over Giovanni Moljo in February. He was released from the UFC in Aug. 2012. He is a former WEC bantamweight champion.Tags: Glory 17, glory kickboxing, Miguel Torres, MMA NEWS
