McGregor: Mendes ‘hits like a b***h’

While Conor McGregor is currently gearing up to fight Jose Aldo at UFC 194 in a featherweight title unification bout, he couldn’t resist taking a verbal shot at Chad Mendes on the UFC 194 media conference call earlier this week.

McGregor defeated Mendes for the interim UFC featherweight championship at UFC 189 earlier this year, where we saw ‘Notorious’ bloodied for the first time in his UFC career.

He spoke to media members about his fight with Mendes:

“I tell you what, I look at that fight ringside and thought to myself, wow, this Chad Mendes guy, he hits like an animal. He’s a dangerous, dangerous man. Then I went in there myself and realized he hits like a bitch.

“And if anything it showed me that these people aren’t on my level.”

Mendes will face Frankie Edgar on December 11th, with the winner likely earning a shot at the winner of Aldo vs. McGregor.
