Lineker Says He’s Over Weight Cutting Problems

Lineker WINS

John Lineker is gearing up for his November 8th, UFC Fight Night 56 bout against Ian ‘Uncle Creepy’ McCall.

Leading up to the bout, McCall has been vocal about calling Lineker ‘fat boy’, which stems from Lineker’s past troubles with missing weight ahead of bouts.

Lineker has missed weight twice in his UFC career, in back to back fights against Jose Maria Tome, and Phil Harris, which both took place in 2013.

Lineker spoke to MMAFighting about the botched weight cuts saying:

“Everything is fine. I know my body better now, I know what the issue was with my weight cut. I won’t have any problems anymore, and I want a title fight next.”

Lineker has stated that with a win over McCall he hopes to get the chance to fight for the UFC flyweight title (Read about that HERE).
