“I really believe Mayweather thinks I will beat him… And he definitely is scared. That’s the reason this fight isn’t happening. I really know how to beat him.”

“You need to be physically bigger than Floyd Mayweather as well. And I am. I think Floyd knowing all these advantages I have, he’s probably thinking, ‘I’ve only got one or two fights left in my career, do I really need a hard fight to finish this sport with?'”

“He’s a businessman. He’s afraid. He knows he’ll get beat, so why would he meet someone like Amir Khan? Financially he would make a lot of money, but I don’t know what it is.”

Nearly three months removed from his super-fight with Manny Pacquiao, Floyd “Money” Mayweather is set to step in the boxing ring against Andre Berto. The bout is set to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 12. While Mayweather has his sights set on Berto, fellow boxing great Amir Khan was still campaigning for a bout with Mayweather on the MMA Hour!

Mayweather touts a flawless record with 48 wins while Khan boasts an impressive 31-3 with his last loss taking place in 2012. Do you think Khan has what it takes to dethrone the king? Will Mayweather give Khan a shot if he beats Berto? Share your thoughts in the comment section below!
