Last night at the Shoot Boxing S-Cup, Kevin Ross, also known as ‘Huggy Bear’ defeated Michihiro Omigawa in the 2nd round via TKO. The official result was that the bout was stopped due to doctor stoppage as a result of a clash of heads according to Liverkick.com.

Ross was set to move on to the semi finals, however after the bout in the locker room Shoot Boxing promoter informed Kevin Ross that he would not be moving on, and the bout had been ruled a no-contest.

This sparked outrage from Ross’ teammates, and fellow fighters, who took to Facebook to express their disbelief, and frustration at this unjust overturning.
