Since the Alex Caceras vs Mitch Gagnon fight was scrapped due to Gagnon’s visa issues, A women’s fight between UFC newcomer Bethe Correia and WMMA veteran Julie Kedzie has been bumped up to a main card slot.
Julie Kedzie has been a staple of women’s MMA, a veteran who started her career in 2004. Kedzie lost her UFC promotional debut against Germaine de Randamie by split decision, and now looks to get back on track after dropping three straight fights.
Bethe Correia trains with the “Pitbull” brothers, Patricio and Patricky Freire in Brazil, and has a record of 6-0 in MMA.
UFC Fight Night 33 takes place Dec. 6 in Australia, and features a main event bout between Mark “The Super Samoan” Hunt and Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva.
