The UFC has added a flyweight fight between Jussier Formiga and Chris Cariaso to the UFC on FX 8 card slated for May 18 in Brazil.  The UFC has not officially announced the match up, but Tatame.com broke the news earlier today.

Formiga (14-2), who until recently went under the name of Jussier Da Silva, will be making his second UFC appearance.  His debut fight in October ended in a TKO loss to John Dodson, ending a 5-fight winning streak.
His opponent, Chris Cariaso (14-4), is also coming off a recent loss.  In December Cariaso lost via submission to upcoming title challenger, John Moraga.

Both fighters will be looking to get back into the winners’ column in this fight, which will likely be added to the preliminary bouts.  These bouts will be aired both on the UFC’s Facebook page and on Fuel TV.  The main card will air on FX, and it is headlined by a middleweight fight between Vitor Belfort and Luke Rockhold.
