Alistair Overeem has been enjoying his vacations, but he seems to be itching to get back into the octagon. There’s just one issue: He has his sights set on Junior dos Santos, and the former UFC Heavyweight Champion hasn’t accepted the fight yet.

After a shaky first five fights in the UFC, “The Reem” seems to have finally found his stride with two dominant victories over heavyweight mainstays Frank Mir and Roy Nelson. In order to prove he should be hanging with the best and ultimately be holding a UFC championship, he needs to get past Junior dos Santos first.
Junior dos Santos’ most recent showing in the octagon was against Stipe Miocic in 2014. “Cigano” took several shots and despite having his hand raised at the end of the fight, he sported many cuts and bruises on his face. He has taken some time away from the cage to recuperate and Overeem cannot wait for his return.
Who do you think would win this heavyweight clash?
