A flyweight bout between Joseph Benavidez and Ali Bagautinov is the latest addition to October’s UFC 192 event in Houston.

UFC officials announced the news earlier today via the Houston Chronicle.

Joseph Benavidez (22-4 MMA) will be looking to earn his fourth victory in a row when he collides with Bagautinov in Texas this fall. The Team Alpha Male product was most recently seen in action at May’s UFC 187 event, where he earned a unanimous decision victory over John Moraga.

Meanwhile, Ali Bagautinov (13-3 MMA) will return to action for the first time since his title fight loss to Demetrious Johnson at UFC 174 in June of 2014. Ali has been on the sidelines for the past year due to a suspension for a failed drug test (erythropoietin) following the Johnson fight. Prior to the setback, Bagautinov had put together an impressive eleven-fight win streak.

UFC 192 takes place October 3 live from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. The event is headlined by a light heavyweight title fight between current champ Daniel Cormier and challenger Alexander Gustafsson.
