Another fight has been added to the UFC Fight Night 32 card, as UFC officials announced Jose Maria will take on Dustin Ortiz.
Bout order has not been determined for UFC Fight Night 32, which will be headlined by the rematch between Dan Henderson and Vitor Belfort, but Ortiz and Maria will most likely fight on the preliminary card.
Jose Maria (33-4) made his UFC debut in August at UFC 163, coming into the organization with an impressive streak of 17 fights without a loss. His debut in the Octagon, however, did not go as he planned, and Maria lost to John Lineker by a TKO in the second round. He’ll be looking to get back to his winning ways in front of the home crowd in his native Brazil.
Dustin Ortiz (11-2) is coming into his UFC debut riding a three-fight winning streak. Ortiz’s most notable opponent has been Ian McCall, another of the UFC’s flyweight fighters; McCall defeated Ortiz back in 2011 by unanimous decision.
UFC Fight Night will take place at Goiania Arena in Goiania, Brazil on November 9. The main card and a preliminary card will air on FOX Sports 1. Additional preliminary bouts will stream on Facebook.Tags: Dan Henderson, dustin ortiz, jose maria, mma, MMA NEWS, ufc, ufc fight night, UFC FIGHT NIGHT 32, ufc news, Vitor Belfort
