Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones has shot back up to the top of the UFC’s light heavyweight rankings following UFC 193. Since the announcement of Jones being reinstated by the UFC, the light heavyweight division has been on their toes.

Although ranked at number one to challenge the title holder of the division, Daniel Cormier, Jones is not getting the recognition he once had on the UFC’s pound-for-pound ranking at number 5, but well ahead of the champion Cormier ranked at number 8.

With champion Daniel Cormier fulfilling his wishes for some time off from competition, fans anxiously await the announcement of Jon Jones next fight as all speculation points to a match with the champion.

Do you think Jones should wait for Cormier, or would you like to see him return to action sooner against a different opponent? Share your opinion in the comments!
