UFC officials announced Tuesday the addition of a lightweight bout between Canadian John Makdessi and Brazilian Alan Patrick to the UFC 169 card.
UFC 169 will take place on February 1 at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The main card will air live on Pay-Per-View with preliminary bouts airing beforehand, most likely on FOX Sports 1.
The bout order has not been officially announced, nor has the placement of this most recent fight.
John Makdessi (12-2) has been a regular appearance in the UFC for the last few years, bouncing back from two consecutive losses with three wins in his most recent bouts, most recently a first-round KO of Renee Forte at UFC 165.

-UFC featherweight title fight between champion Jose Aldo and Ricardo Llamas
-Frank Mir vs. Alistair Overeem
