A middleweight fight featuring Jared Hamman and Constantinos Philippou is now set for UFC 140 in Toronto, as UFC officials made the announcement via their Twitter account earlier today.

Jared Hamman last fought at UFC on Versus 5, where he scored the biggest win of his UFC career, when he stopped C.B. Dolloway via second round TKO. The win brought Hamman’s UFC record to 2-2, although all of his fights previous to the Dolloway fight were contested at 205lbs. With the momentum from his last performance, Hamman will be looking for his second straight win as he continues his climb up the middleweight ranks.

Constantinos Philippou last fought at UFC 133 where he won a split decision win over Jorge Rivera. The win was Philippou’s first win inside the octagon, as he dropped a unanimous decision to Nick Catone in his UFC debut. Philippou will also be looking to add a second straight win to his UFC resume, when he meets Jared Hamman this December.

UFC 140 takes place December 10th at the Air Canada Center in Toronto, Canada and is headlined by a light heavyweight title fight featuring Jon Jones and Lyoto Machida.
