James Krause vs. Bobby Green Booked For Nov. 6 Event

A lightweight bout has been added to the upcoming Fight For The Troops event in the form of James Krause vs. Bobby Green.

UFC officials announced the contest via twitter this afternoon.

UFC Fight Night 31 or ‘Fight For The Troops 3’, is set to go down from Kentucky’s Fort Campbell on November 6th. The free televised card will air on the new Fox Sports 1. In the main event, Military sniper, Tim Kennedy, is set to take on former UFC light-heavyweight champion, Lyoto Machida, in his middleweight debut.

Krause brings in an eight-fight winning streak to the bout. He last saw action in his UFC 161 debut where he earned ‘Submission of the Night’ against Sam Stout.

Green is a Strikeforce import who was able to raise eyebrows in his UFC 156 debut where he submitted Jacob Volkmann to also earn ‘Submission of the Night’ honors. The win over Volkmann was his fifth straight.

The lineup for Fight for the Troops 3 now looks as follows:
