Jacare “Won’t Be Mad” If Silva Gets Next Title Shot

“It doesn’t worry me, not at all. I don’t keep myself worried with this kind of stuff. It doesn’t concern me. I’m a Christian guy and give no attention for worldly things. If that happens, it’s because it was God’s choice, and I’ll support Anderson. I would be lying if I say that it wouldn’t bother me. But I won’t get mad.”

“Of course I had this thought but I believe that Chris Weidman and Vitor Belfort will be ready. For sure that I can compete in someone else’s place if necessary but I’m focused in my fight. I’m also ready to fight five rounds if the UFC requests.”

During a recent interview with The Brazilian Press (Globo), top UFC middleweight Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza talked about the UFC’s recent announcement on Anderson Silva’s title shot.

Silva’s just one win away from a shot at the strap, according to UFC President Dana White.
